Collier County is known as the Paradise Coast and encompasses Naples, Marco Island and the Everglades. The region is promoted as one destination by the Naples, Marco Island, Everglades Convention and Visitor's Bureau. Encompassing more than 2,000 square miles, Collier is topographically the largest county in Florida. However, more than 80% of the vast expanse, especially in the Everglades National Park and Big Cypress National Preserve is designated as park and nature preserve land.

Collier principal cities are Naples and Marco Island; however numerous smaller communities showcase the area's diversity. A new community, Ave Maria, situated east of Naples on Hwy 858, is quickly becoming known for their university and campus style planning that provides a core of a great hometown.

There's no better way to explore the Everglades than on a thrilling airboat ride!
